As an introduction for the whole event, we envision a presentation that gives an overview of the practice of allergy diagnosis and treatment in the region, including:

• Epidemiology of allergic diseases
• Unmet needs to provide comprehensive health care for allergic patients (e.g., too few allergy specialists, availability of test reagents and AIT-preparations, constraints by the insurance regarding number of tests per patient, too large number of OFC’s, etc.)
• Most commonly used diagnostic methods and tools
• Most important allergen sources in the area
