Prof. Dr. Koray Harmanci

Graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and completed his specialization in Pediatrics at the same university. Following his specialization, he worked for two years as a Lecturer in the Department of Pediatrics at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara. In 2006, he became a Pediatric Immunology and Allergy Specialist at the Division of Pediatric Allergy, Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. In 2015, he was promoted to Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Eskişehir Osmangazi University.

Since 2013, he has been serving as the Head of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and the Head of the Division of Pediatric Immunology and Allergy. He also served as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics between 2020 and 2022, and resumed this position in 2023. Additionally, as a faculty member in the Department of Medical Education, he held the position of Vice Dean for Education at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine during the periods 2016–2018 and 2022–2023.

Prof. Dr. Harmancı served on the board of directors of the Pediatric Allergy and Asthma Academy Association for two terms and was President of the association between 2023 and 2025. He is also a member of several professional societies, including the Turkish Pediatric Association, the National Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the National Pediatric Society, the Turkish Thoracic Society, and the Pediatric Probiotics Association. In 2023, he was elected to the Executive Committee of the Board for Pediatrics Specialty Competency. He continues to actively contribute to these organizations.
